Zeishan Quadri Gets Candid About Halahal And Bichcho Ka Khel
Gangs Of Wasseypur famed actor and writer Zeishan Quadri talks about the much acclaimed film 'Halahal' and Bichcho Ka Khel.
Interacting with Newshelpline about the response 'Halahal' got, Zeishan said, "I got very good response for the film. When people outside the Industry call you to appreciate your work, it feels good but when Industry people call you it feels great."
Sharing his experience on working on the film, he said, "I got a call from Eros team and they wanted a producer for the film. I said I will produce the film but I want freedom for creative calls. Randeep Jha has directed the film really well and Barun Sobti and Sachin Khedekar have added life to it with their acting."
Halahal has been nominated for 2-3 awards as well. Talking about it, he said, "The film did well because of mouth publicity. Artists like us have got good opportunities through various OTT platforms to tell a story."
When asked, if this film would have come directly to cinemas, would it have done a good box office collection, he replied, "Cinema is made of many things. People need a good face on the poster, a good music director and good promotion. Audience wants a star face with good content in a film. Nevertheless, the film would have done a decent job."
