Will host special screening of ‘Fauji Calling’ for Tiger Shroff and Ayesha Shroff says Ranjha Vikram Singh

Ranjha Vkram Singh played a negative role in Tiger Shroff’s debut film ‘Heropanti’ which was released in 2014. During the interview, Singh said that he will host special screening of ‘Fauji Calling’ for Tiger Shroff and his mother Ayesha Shroff who has encouraged him over the years in the film industry, he said, “I sent the link of ‘Fauji Calling’s trailer to Ayesha (Shroff) madam and I ask her to see it and if she likes it then share it on her social media. Ayesha madam loved the trailer and she shared it on her twitter account, so I will try to host this film’s screening where I will invite Tiger Shroff, Ayesha Shroff madam, Sajid Nadiadwala sir, Mukesh Chhabra sir and many others with whom I have worked in the film industry.”

‘Fauji Calling’s trailer has garnered around 5 million views on YouTube within a two weeks of its release, talking about audience response to the trailer of the film, Singh said, “I am thankful to the audience that over the years they have appreciated my work in films and now, my next film ‘Fauji Calling’ is releasing in theatres soon. I am feeling really happy that people have given positive feedback to the trailer of our film. It has got more than 4 million views and 2.2k comments on YouTube, so it means that the audience is spreading the trailer on various social media platforms, so I hope that they will like the film as well after watching it.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh launched the trailer of ‘Fauji Calling’ on 25th January along with cast and crew of the film in New Delhi, talking about the experience, Singh said, “I think that moment was a milestone of my life. I am very grateful to our Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ji for releasing our film’s trailer. I think we wouldn’t have got a better gift or a blessing than that for our film. After his kind gesture, I hope that this film will reach every household. In fact, He (Rajnath Singh) got very emotional when he watched the trailer and he said some good things about our entire team, so all of us are very thankful to him.”

Sharman Joshi is also playing role of a soldier in ‘Fauji Calling’ along with Ranjha Vikram Singh, when asked Singh whether he feels that he will be sidelined in the presence of Sharman Joshi in the film, he said, “When I sign a film, I don’t think about how many scenes I have in that film. If I like the story and my character in the film then I say yes to a project. When this film’s director (Aaryaan Saxena) told me that he wants me to play the role of a soldier in the film, so I asked him only one thing that ‘I will wear the uniform of a soldier, right?’ and he said yes to it. Since my childhood, I always wanted to be a soldier in the Indian Army. Whenever we used to have essay competitions in our school, I used to write essays about our soldiers, so doing this film is kind of a dream come true moment for me as an actor.”

He added, “Sharman Joshi and me, both are playing the role of soldiers in this film and I know that Sharman is a bigger actor than actor than me but I am not thinking about whether the audience will make comparison between our characters in the film. I think we have made a really good family film and it tells a story from a child’s point of view.”

‘Fauji Calling’ showcases the story of a soldier who sacrifices his life in an attack and the struggle of his family after the attack. It is written and directed by Aaryaan Saxena.

The film stars Sharman Joshi, Ranjha Vikram Singh, Bidita Bag, Mahi Soni, Mugdha Godse, Zarina Wahab, and Shishir Sharma in key roles. It is releasing in theatres on 25th February.
