Actor Rajkummar Rao, hints at Murder Mystery based on author Satyam Srivastava and Rajeev Garg’s book titled ‘Neelkanth’.
Rajkummar Rao was interacting with News Helpline at author Satyam Srivastava and Rajeev Garg’s book launch named ‘Neelkanth’ on Friday in Mumbai.
When asked Rao whether he would like to be a part of the film which will be based on ‘Neelkanth’, he said, “Absolutely! I am always in a search of good stories so that we can make a film out of it. I am sure it will be an interesting and exciting book, so I think we can make a major feature film out of this book.”
Interestingly the publisher of the book, Trupti Sawardekar also confirmed that the team is already planning to get the book made into a film or series, she said, “We were any way looking for producers and directors to make this book into a film or a web series and now that Rajkummar Rao has given his nod then it will be easy for us to get producers and directors on board”
However the final confirmation from the actor and publisher on the film is still awaited, but with so much buzz, it’s about time Rajkummar Rao ventured into thriller genre. As his last outing, The White Tiger, based on a book is trending at number one place.
