Want to explore opportunities in entertainment industry apart from politics says Bigg Boss 14 contestant Sonali Phogat

Sonali entered the Bigg Boss 14 house in the last week of December. She is the National Vice President of BJP’s Mahila Morcha. In 2016, she made her acting debut with the TV show Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma. She also featured in the Haryanvi film, Chhoriyan Chhoron S Kam Nahi Hoti. She has appeared in several Punjabi and Haryanvi music videos. She was last seen in the web series, The Story Of Badmashgarh (2019).

When asked Phogat whether is ready to work in the entertainment industry after walking out of Bigg Boss house, she said, “I have always given equal priority to politics and acting but now I feel that I should concentrate more on my acting. Salman Khan always praised my dance performances when I used to perform during weekend ka vaar, so it was a big compliment for me. I think I have a good personality and I am good at dancing as well. I have always immersed myself into social work but now I have changed my look. I will start going to the gym and reduce some weight. I have started getting some offers so, I am hopeful that I will be able to do good work after my sting in Bigg Boss.”

Currently, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Aly Goni, Arshi Khan, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya, Rakhi Sawant and Vikas Gupta are competing for the title of ‘Bigg Boss 14’.

When asked Phogat who will win the title of Bigg Boss 14, she said, “Before making my entry in the show, I watched a few episodes, so I thought Rubina (Dilaik) and Rahul (Vaidya) are very strong contestants. I thought that Eijaz (Khan) is a very weird and rude kind of person because he used to fight a lot. When I entered the house, I experienced the complete opposite side of him. They (contestants) are there for 24 hours in the house but the audience only sees one and a half hour of episode from that 24 hours, so you kind of end up making preconceived notions about certain people. I have lived in that house with principles and morality but I don’t think that has been aired on the show. I feel my one or two mistakes have been highlighted in the show.”

She added, “Rubina was everyone’s favorite in my family but when I walked out of the show, I asked my whether Rubina is still her favorite but her answer was no, so I explained to her that to sustain in the show, she (Rubina Dilaik) is doing all these things otherwise she is a good human being and she has played positive characters in television serials as well. I think she (Rubina Dialik) has been made for shows like these. She is a very smart player and she has been playing her game really well. She has the knack to manipulate people around her, so I think she is the one who can win that trophy and people like me are not made for shows like these where you have to constantly change your stance and strategy to be in the show.”

Sonali Phogat made headlines for creating ruckus inside the Big Boss house. She fought with Rubina Dilaik and Arshi Khan over paranthas. The fight was for throwing a paratha in the dustbin, she was trying her best to be seen. Not just that, the housemates had also complained against Sonali Phogat for allegedly threatening them on national television.
