Honoured To Work With Annu Kapoor Says Shaheer Sheikh

Shaheer Sheikh was loved as Arjuna in the show Mahabharat. The teaser from his upcoming show Paurashpur is also getting him great response as people love to see him in such avatars. The actor who recently got married to his beau Ruchikaa Kapoor is very excited to be a part of the show.

Alt Balaji's Paurashpur tells the story of the medieval city of Paurashpur brimming with crime, corruption and misuse of power. Shaheer plays the role of Veer Singh in the show who fights for equality of people and empowerment of women.

Talking about his character, he said, "The character was inspiring for me so i was excited to play this part. His love interest is taken away from him by a king and so he does not want any other woman to be ill-treated. There is so much positivity in the character."

Working with stellar Annu Kapoor is a dream for all youngsters, talking about the same he said, "Though I did not share screen space with him in the show. But I feel honoured to be a part of the same show with Annu Kapoor. He is a phenomenal actor, the best that industry has"

Shaheer got married during Covid times, so he and his wife had a simple court wedding. Sharing his plans for wedding celebrations, he told us, "We are planning to host a wedding function in June in Jammu. All my friends are excited to go and visit that part of the country."
