Taapsee Pannu Shares Her Dietary Journey And Prep For Rashmi Rocket
A true-blooded Punjabi, actor Taapsee Pannu naturally favors her regional cuisine over anything else. The Pink actor on her Instagram handles recently shared that she loved eating Dahi and lassi but kept avoiding them for a long time. But now as her nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal has designed her diet plan, her ways of holistic have begun to work like magic.
Taapsee wrote, “There was once a time when I was really sensitive to dairy. The Punjabi me inherently loved dahi and lassi, but I kept avoiding them for a long time. Once I started working with @munmun.Ganeriwal few years back, her ways of holistic health began to work like magic. In a few months, my gut health had restored. Today my diet for #RashmiRocket as she plans, consists not only of ghee, curd, buttermilk but both my protein shakes (whey and casein) are dairy based too! The Thappad actor is undergoing rigorous training for her upcoming movie Rashmi Rocket, based on an athlete from Gujarat. Besides physical workouts, the actor is also taking good care of her nutrition.
About the movie, in the movie, Taapsee plays a Gujarati girl named Rashmi, who runs so fast that the villagers dub her as Rashmi Rocket. The film is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha, and Kanika Dhillon, and has Bhavesh Joshi Superhero actor Priyanshu Painyuli playing Taapsee’s husband in the film. The film is set to release in 2021. The sports drama is directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand, and Pranjal Khandhdiya.
She also will be seen in the upcoming movie, Haseen Dillruba. The actor has also been roped in for the film Looop Lapeta, also starring Tahir Raj Bhasin. The film is made under the banner of Sony Picture India and Ellipsis Entertainment.
