Dancing In-front of Madhuri Dixit Was Nerve-Wrecking Says Alia Bhatt
Actress Alia Bhatt quips that dancing in-front of Madhuri Dixit for Ghar More Pardesiya was a nerve-wrecking experience on the sidelines of a recent media interaction.
Ghar More Pradesiya, the first song of Kalank, was Madhuri Dixit and Alia Bhatt going head-to-head in a classical dance routine, which was a daunting experience for Alia.
Talking about the song, dance and working with Madhuri Dixit, actress Alia Bhatt said, “It was nerve-wrecking to dance in front of Madhuri Dixit, but then again I was nervous about the whole thing all together. The Fact that Madhuri Ma’am will be there, the fact that it is classical number, the fact that I’ve never done a classical number before, or Indian dancing in my life, my body-language is opposite of graceful, according to me”
Further adding, she said, “So it was the whole experience of it that was scary but to be honest, I love things that scare me. And I think one should a little bit of things that they are scared about, and this whole experience scared me a lot, and I think I’ve done my bit of scary things for the time being. But I learned a lot as an actor, human being and performer, just going through the process of the song”
The song has garnered a massive 36 million hits.
