Irrfan Khan Kick-Starts Angrezi Medium In Udaipur, Confirmed!
The prodigal actor has returned and announced his next venture, Irrfan Khan has kick-started the shoot of Angrezi Medium, sequel to super hit Hindi Medium, in Udaipur.
The Official handle of Maddock films just dropped the confirmation news along with first day shoot pictures on social media. It said, “What better start to this Friday than starting something that you all have been waiting for! Our power team, Producer #DineshVijan, Director #HomiAdajania, DOP #AnilMehta, @deepakdobriyal and the man himself @irrfank straight from the sets of #AngreziMedium in #Udaipur”
The film is bankrolled b Dinesh Vijan, under his home banner Maddock Films, the film is helmed by Homi Adajania with Irrfan Khan and Deepak Dobriyal, as confirmed cast. The team has kick-started the shoot in Udaipur.
The original 2017 film was a surprise hit with the masses as well as critics and exposed the education system of our country. Directed by Saket Choudhary, the film starred Pakistani actor Saba Qamar in the lead role opposite Irrfan.
Angrezi Medium is the first project of Irrfan Khan, post his return from London. Irrfan was undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour in London for most of the last year, having announced his diagnosis on social media. The actor has been keeping a low profile ever since he left India for the treatment of neuroendocrine tumour last year.
