Amid the coronavirus pandemic, everything came to halt, including shoots and cinemas. Now as the things are getting back to normal. Theatres are all set to regain their place. After remaining shut for almost seven months, cinema halls are all set to welcome moviegoers across the country. A piece of good news that will make cinema lovers go crazy is that cinemas are ready to reopen its doors from this week. And re-released of films like ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Shubha Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Malang, Kedarnath, and Thappad has been scheduled.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media handle and announced the same.

He took to his social media and shared, “As cinemas ready to reopen their doors from this week onwards, the list of #Hindi films scheduled for re-release this week is OFFICIALLY announced...#Tanhaji #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan #Malang #Kedarnath #Thappad...More films will be scheduled in coming days.”

As per the reports, earlier Ajay Devgn's 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' was the biggest hit of the first quarter of 2020. Ajay Devgn starrer 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' emerged as a massive success at the box office in the first quarter of 2020 with a whopping collection of Rs 250 crore.

The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which hit the screens on February 21, ended its run at the box office on a satisfactory note. According to various trade trackers, the film's lifetime collection was around Rs 63 crores and this means it was a "semi-hit".

Film 'Thappad' which grabbed everyone's attention prior to its release due to the sensitive subject of the film managed to mint a total of Rs 28.29 crore at the box-office.

Film ' Kedarnath', garnered much appreciation for its content and the acting by the lead pair late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. The film collected a total of Rs 70 crore in eight weeks at the box office. The film did around $2 million (Rs 14 crore) overseas which gave it a worldwide gross of Rs 104 crore.

Mohit Suri's romantic-thriller 'Malang'. The film saw decent growth at the box office as it raked in a total of Rs 50-55 crore.
