Film debut and Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2006–2010)

Film debut and Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2006–2010) Bharucha debuted in Hindi cinema in 2006 with the film Jai Santoshi Maa. She then starred alongside Jackky Bhagnani in the science fiction romantic drama Kal Kissne Dekha (2009). The following year, she was paired with Rajkummar Rao and Anshuman Jha in Dibakar Banerjee's experimental anthology drama Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Both films were commercial failures.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama and critical recognition (2011–present)

Pyaar Ka Punchnama and critical recognition (2011–present) Bharucha next appeared in Luv Ranjan's buddy comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011). Co-starring Kartik Aaryan, Divyendu Sharma, Raayo S. Bakhirta, and Sonnalli Seygall, the film tells the story of three bachelors who fall in love with three different girls. With a worldwide gross of ₹500 million against a budget of ₹100 million, Pyaar Ka Punchnama proved to be a critical and commercial success. Bharucha's pairing with Kartik Aaryan was well received by the critics, for which Luv Ranjan cast her opposite him for the second time in the romance Akaash Vani (2013). The film is about two lovers named Akaash (Aaryan) and Vani (Bharucha) who are separated when Vani is married to an abusive man named Ravi (Sunny Nijar). The film received positive reviews from critics, but did not perform well commercially, thus becoming a flop. In 2015, Bharucha appeared in two films: the horror film Darr @ The Mall and the buddy comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. In Darr @ The Mall, she starred opposite Jimmy Sheirgill and played the role of Ahana Manchanda. In Luv Ranjan's buddy comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), which was a sequel to her 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, co-starred Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Nijar, Omkar Kapoor, Sonnalli Seygall, and Ishita Raj Sharma. The film's story was adapted from the previous film. Bharucha was paired opposite Aaryan for the third time. Commercially, both Darr @ The Mall and Pyaar Ka Punchnama performed well at the box office and proved to be successes. After a three-year absence from full-time acting, Bharucha featured in the romantic comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), marking her fourth collaboration with director Luv Ranjan and actor Kartik Aaryan. The film tells the story of Sonu (Aaryan) who tries to separate his best friend Titu (Sunny Nijar) from his fiancèe Sweety (Bharucha). With a worldwide gross of ₹148.71 crore (US$21 million) against a budget of ₹30 crore (US$2.1 million), Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety emerged as Bharucha's highest-grossing release. She received several awards for her performance in the film. Bharucha is all set to reunite with Rajkummar Rao in Hansal Mehta's social comedy Turram Khan, and will then feature in the romantic comedy Dream Girl alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. She will also appear in an item number in Milap Zaveri's action thriller Marjaavaan alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
